Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Sirotek (ranked 5781 p4p, 6275 weight class) and Guilherme Pereira (ranked 636 p4p, 666 weight class). Sirotek comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Caroline. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirotek clinches.
Pereira jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sirotek walks away with a smile on his face. Pereira gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pereira moves into range and clinches up with Sirotek.

Sirotek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sirotek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pereira paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sirotek throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pereira was covering up waiting for the punch and Sirotek finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pereira is looking for a triangle but Sirotek pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sirotek shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sirotek was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pereira is looking to regain half guard here but Sirotek keeps moving and retains side control.

Sirotek gets to mount! Pereira was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Pereira tries to improve his position but Sirotek has taken his back! Sirotek has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Pereira tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Sirotek pushes Pereira away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
