The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matias closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Baxter Ii tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Matias should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Matias just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
