The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romano shoots in and gets a takedown into Brown's guard.
Brown is wriggling around but Romano manages to pass to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Romano is working away from the top position though.
