Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yakubu Okoroji (ranked 6161 p4p, 3085 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 0 p4p, 180 weight class). Ono Kuronoa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yakubu Okoroji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ono Kuronoa! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okoroji drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Okoroji throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Kuronoa can't do much from the bottom here. Okoroji landing a few strikes. Okoroji lands some shots froms side control. Check out the look on Okoroji's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Okoroji will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Okoroji is looking to take a break and control but Kuronoa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kuronoa is looking to regain half guard here but Okoroji keeps moving and retains side control. Okoroji misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Sloppy strikes there by Okoroji. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuronoa defending against the ground and pound. Kuronoa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Kuronoa manages to get to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Okoroji throws a sloppy strike and Kuronoa has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Okoroji is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Kuronoa!
