Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hyseon Whang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Henderson successfully pulls guard.
Henderson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Whang passes into side control.
Whang gets to mount! Henderson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Henderson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Henderson tries to reverse the position but Whang maintains control.

Whang swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Henderson is now in Whang's guard. A big mistake from Whang there, giving up the dominant position!
Henderson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Henderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Whang is looking for a triangle here but Henderson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
