The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Martinez lands a damaging elbow.
Sukarman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Martinez lands an elbow just above Sukarman 's eye.
It looks like Sutarjo Sukarman has been cut.
Martinez lands a good knee to the midsection. Sukarman won't want to take too many of those.
Martinez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martinez looks to land a combination. Sukarman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sukarman is rocked!
Martinez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martinez breaks from the clinch.
Martinez lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sukarman is looking to close the distance but Martinez sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sukarman crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sukarman is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

A very excited looking Javier Martinez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Sutarjo Sukarman stepped up to the mic, saying 'Next i'll win'.
