PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Camaras Account (ranked 586 p4p, 648 weight class) and Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau (ranked 80 p4p, 89 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Account is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Costeau lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Costeau has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Costeau loads up on a big right hand but Account slips the punch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Costeau tries to bum rush Account with a series of wild strikes but Account uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Camaras Account will probably get the nod.

The fighters circle momentarily. Account darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Account cracks Costeau with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Account has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Costeau to stand back up!

and Account counters with a huge left! Costeau is in big trouble! He's backing up but Account isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Costeau from any more damage. A dominating finish by Account!

After winning the bout, Camaras Account thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
