Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Benson (ranked 25317 p4p, 5579 weight class) and Tautai Kaituu (ranked 670 p4p, 572 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Elliot Benson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tautai Kaituu! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benson lands a really nice looking cross but Kaituu seems unphased.
A jab lands there for Benson. Kaituu gets a double leg takedown into Benson's guard. Kaituu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kaituu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Benson is looking for a triangle but Kaituu pushes his legs off easily.
Benson keeping full guard, as Kaituu tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaituu advances to half guard. Kaituu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that Kaituu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Benson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kaituu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Benson sees it coming and defends easily. Benson looking for submissions off his back. Benson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kaituu pulls his head out easily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kaituu in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaituu is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kaituu pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaituu maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Benson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kaituu has cracked it and Benson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kaituu!
