Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ziggy Stardust (ranked 609 p4p, 617 weight class) and Jose Carvaleho (ranked 81 p4p, 85 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stardust might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Starman. Ziggy Stardust had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ziggy Stardust!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Carvaleho!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stardust misses with an uppercut. Carvaleho saw that one coming.

Carvaleho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stardust did well to prevent Carvaleho getting side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ziggy Stardust will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stardust, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
