Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aboubacar Mandiang (ranked 753 p4p, 1869 weight class) and Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 103 p4p, 238 weight class). Mandiang's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Oliver Twist. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aboubacar Mandiang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bjorn Akerfeldt!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akerfeldt moves in looking to clinch but Mandiang pushes him off.
Akerfeldt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mandiang makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Mandiang throws a half hearted mid kick.
Akerfeldt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mandiang tries to avoid it but Akerfeldt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mandiang to the ground. Mandiang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mandiang looks to land a left hand but Akerfeldt moved out of range nicely.
Mandiang circles away from the clinch attempt
and Mandiang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mandiang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Akerfeldt.

Mandiang connects with a good right hand that stumbles Akerfeldt. Akerfeldt circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mandiang punishes Akerfeldt's body with a nice straight punch.
Mandiang lands a leg kick that knocks Akerfeldt off balance momentarily.

Mandiang is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Akerfeldt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A quick step to the side and Mandiang tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mandiang tries to land a front kick but Akerfeldt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mandiang lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mandiang feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Akerfeldt sprawling to the canvas! Akerfeldt rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mandiang finish him?!
Akerfeldt is rocked!
It looks like Bjorn Akerfeldt has been cut.
Mandiang weaves into range and cracks Akerfeldt right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Akerfeldt goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Mandiang is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aboubacar Mandiang!
Aboubacar Mandiang decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
