The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Case.
Good leg kick by Case.
McCool shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Case pinned against the cage. Case gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McCool throws a head kick but Case moves out of range.
Case misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCool really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McCool shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Case defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

so McCool counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McCool slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

McCool is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Case is trying to escape and McCool transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Case is forced to tap! Nice work there by McCool! Very nice indeed!
