Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Adlehyde (ranked 604 p4p, 1295 weight class) and Markos Hadjilis (ranked 91 p4p, 198 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Adlehyde!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Markos Hadjilis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adlehyde lands with a cross.
It looks like Markos Hadjilis has been cut.
Adlehyde takes one on the button.
A swing and a miss from Hadjilis.
Adlehyde ducks under a wild hook from Hadjilis.
Hadjilis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adlehyde sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hadjilis somewhat.
A shot to the body from Hadjilis misses
and Adlehyde makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Adlehyde cracks Hadjilis with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hadjilis looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Adlehyde finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adlehyde avoids the body shot from Hadjilis.
Hadjilis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Markos Hadjilis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adlehyde drops Hadjilis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hadjilis looks back up at him and smiles so Adlehyde waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hadjilis is rocked!
Hadjilis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adlehyde moves away.
Adlehyde throwing a counter right hand but Hadjilis manages to avoid it.
Adlehyde walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hadjilis drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Adlehyde swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hadjilis's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Adlehyde!
Jack Adlehyde retains his middleweight title!
In his post fight interview, Jack Adlehyde started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
