Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Yonic (ranked 4852 p4p, 4389 weight class) and Sylvain Riqueti (ranked 101 p4p, 94 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Riqueti doesn't seem bothered though.
Yonic throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Riqueti counters with a nice uppercut.
Yonic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Riqueti! But no joy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Riqueti cracks Yonic with an uppercut from hell and Yonic crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Riqueti's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Riqueti catches Yonic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Riqueti escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yonic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yonic slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Well Riqueti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
