Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Riley Knox (ranked 21254 p4p, 6576 weight class) and Jayson Tatum (ranked 745 p4p, 691 weight class). Knox comes to the ring accompanied by Roy Jones Jr - I Smoke, I Drink feat. Mr. Magic & Youngbloodz). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Riley Knox!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jayson Tatum!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum throws a right hand that misses
and Knox counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Tatum onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
It looks like Jayson Tatum has been cut.
Knox uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tatum.
Tatum is looking to land body kicks.
A little feinted left hand from Knox on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A swing and a miss from Knox.
A little jabbing left from Tatum on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Knox misses with a jab, cross combination.
Knox misses with a wild combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Some bone on bone action there as Knox checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Knox tries to move into range but Tatum moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tatum throws the kick towards the body but Knox avoids it.
Jayson Tatum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knox uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tatum.
Knox looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tatum misses with a hook. Knox ducked under it nicely.
Tatum pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tatum connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tatum throws a leg kick
and Knox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tatum misses with a combination
and Knox counters with a left to the body.
Tatum tries to bum rush Knox with a series of wild strikes but Knox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Knox throws a hook but Tatum avoids it easily.
Tatum connects with the punch.
Tatum swats away the attempt to clinch by Knox.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Knox slips a jab from Tatum.
That kick from Tatum tenderised Knox's leg. Knox is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tatum misses with a body kick.
A little feinted left hand from Knox on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Knox looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tatum looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Knox throws a shot to the body.

Knox swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Knox fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tatum has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tatum misses with an uppercut. Knox saw that one coming.
Knox is looking to counter punch.
The fighters circling - Tatum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tatum's jab looks to have found its range, popping Knox under the eye.
Knox looks to score with a jab to the body but Tatum is just out of range.
Tatum lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tatum.
Knox tries a head kick but it misses.
Tatum rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and as Tatum loses concentration momentarily, Knox counters with a picture perfect head kick! Tatum goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Riley Knox!

Our winner, Riley Knox, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
