Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kebab Nurminen (ranked 136 p4p, 282 weight class) and Patrick River (ranked 22 p4p, 42 weight class). River has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River moves away from the strike by Nurminen.
River takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Nurminen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

River fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nurminen.
River connects with a right hand. Nurminen shakes it off.

River throws out a counter right but Nurminen avoids it with no problem.
Nurminen throws a shot from downtown. River moves away and avoids it.
Nurminen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight.
