Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Shearer (ranked 5360 p4p, 4566 weight class) and Chang Lang (ranked 557 p4p, 507 weight class). Andy Shearer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andy Shearer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chang Lang!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Lang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shearer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shearer lands a really nice looking cross but Lang seems unphased.
Nice cross by Shearer.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lang gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Shearer clinches up against the ropes.
Lang stalling in the clinch but Shearer improves position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lang missing with knees to the body.
Lang is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shearer is keeping busy.
Shearer gets through Lang's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
It looks like Chang Lang has been cut.
Shearer creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lang with a big uppercut! Lang tries to clinch up but Shearer pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Lang to the mat! Lang covers up and Shearer unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andy Shearer!
