Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thijs De Koning!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Koning misses with a body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from De Koning is defended easily by Garcia.
De Koning shoots for a double leg takedown but Garcia sprawls well. He's pushed De Koning's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Garcia misses with a head kick.
Garcia throws a half hearted mid kick.
Garcia sets himself, and De Koning steps forward looking for the clinch! Garcia avoids it this time.
Nice takedown defense from Garcia. No joy for De Koning on that attempt.
Kyle Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thijs De Koning.
De Koning lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcia circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Garcia takes a swing at De Koning's ribcage but misses.
De Koning has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Garcia is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Garcia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
De Koning tries to counter by closing the distance.
De Koning moves in looking to clinch but Garcia pushes him off.
De Koning throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing De Koning off to one side.

Garcia looks to score with a jab to the body but De Koning is just out of range.

De Koning throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Garcia was covering up waiting for the punch and De Koning finishes the takedown easily into guard.

De Koning drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says De Koning as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Garcia screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with De Koning! Nice submission victory there!
