Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davis Macdonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macdonnell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Braveheart Theme - Saskin Mix. The key to victory for Davis Macdonnell has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer clinches up with Macdonnell and pushes him back against the cage.
Spencer gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Spencer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Spencer throwing shots but Macdonnell is blocking nicely.
Spencer with the ground and pound but Macdonnell uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Spencer with a nice head shot there.
Macdonnell striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Spencer forces his way into half guard.
Spencer wants to free his trapped foot but Macdonnell is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Spencer prevents Macdonnell from standing back up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Spencer lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spencer is keen to just control but Macdonnell is a slippery customer.
Spencer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Macdonnell defending well though.
Spencer is looking to take a break and control but Macdonnell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Macdonnell won't allow Spencer to pass to mount.
Macdonnell is controlling Spencer's trapped leg to prevent Spencer from advancing to side control.
Spencer trying to mount his opponent but Macdonnell defends it.
Spencer thows a huge punch but Macdonnell dodges it nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Macdonnell is positioning himself well to prevent Spencer advancing to mount.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Spencer fails with a takedown attempt.
Spencer doesn't manage to clinch there - Macdonnell circles away.
A head kick misses from Spencer.
Macdonnell wants to clinch
and Spencer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Spencer looking to sit in guard and control but Macdonnell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Macdonnell stands and steps away. Spencer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spencer tries to clinch up
and Macdonnell counters with a big head kick but Spencer shrugs it off.
Macdonnell closes the distance but Spencer moves to the side
and Spencer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Spencer moves into full mount! Macdonnell won't be happy about that!
Spencer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Macdonnell tries to hold on but Spencer postures up.
Spencer is landing with some decent strikes but Macdonnell is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Macdonnell is bucking up trying to escape but Spencer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spencer wants to control the pace but Macdonnell is squirming around nicely.
Spencer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Spencer looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Macdonnell covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
