Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jumba Smif (ranked 4282 p4p, 2907 weight class) and Bwain Eyac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jumba Smif!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bwain Eyac !
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smif tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eyac swivels and escapes.
Eyac is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
No luck for Smif with that takedown attempt.
Eyac throws a big counter head kick but Smif avoids it with no problem.
Smif fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jumba Smif. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smif doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Eyac counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eyac slips nicely into half guard.

Eyac gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Eyac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Eyac wants it to stay on the feet.
Smif tries to close the distance and clinch but Eyac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Eyac was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Smif fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Smif shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eyac as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smif tries to clinch up but Eyac circles away and keeps his distance.
Smif misses with a takedown attempt - Eyac sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Eyac counters with a single leg into guard. Smif didn't expect that.
Smif knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eyac on the ground.
Smif controls Eyac momentarily but Eyac frees himself.
Eyac makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Eyac 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smif wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Eyac is now in half guard.
Eyac looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Smif wants to control but Eyac passes into side.
Eyac scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Eyac controlling the position from side mount.
Smif is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Eyac is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Eyac controlling the pace for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Smif keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Eyac has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Smif's face.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Smif shoots for a takedown but Eyac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Eyac only half commits to the counter leg kick.
No luck for Smif with that takedown attempt.
Smif tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eyac swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Eyac throws a big counter head kick but Smif avoids it with no problem.
Horrible takedown attempt by Smif or perhaps it was just good defense by Eyac , which made it look bad.
Smif backing away here, and Eyac unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jumba Smif. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Eyac counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eyac is taking a breather. Smif says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Eyac seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Smif is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
