Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torkel Bystrom (ranked 1589 p4p, 1532 weight class) and Roman Ship (ranked 40 p4p, 55 weight class). Roman Ship told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Torkel Bystrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Ship!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bystrom. Ship does a little dance to reset his feet.
Torkel Bystrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ship ducks under a wild hook from Bystrom.
Ship looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A cross from Bystrom lands.
It looks like Roman Ship has been cut.
Bystrom has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ship uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bystrom.
Bystrom throws a body shot but no joy.
Bystrom swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bystrom blocks the body kick.
Bystrom moves into the clinch successfully.
Ship utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Ship jumps into guard, dragging Bystrom to the mat.
Bystrom trying to control but Ship is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ship throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ship is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bystrom defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bystrom drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ship manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bystrom has Ship in his guard.
Ship drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bystrom dives on top into guard.
Ship working for a triangle but Bystrom defends it easily.
Bystrom gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ship fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bystrom looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bystrom throws an overhand right that lands on Ship's shoulder, as Ship tries to avoid the shot.
Bystrom walks into a straight right hand from Ship.
Torkel Bystrom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ship throws a head kick that misses.
Bystrom tries to clinch up.
Bystrom darts in and clinches Ship up against the cage.
Ship trying to land knees to the body.
Bystrom tries to land knees in the clinch but Ship avoids the damage to the body.
Bystrom gets control of Ship's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bystrom will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bystrom working for a triangle but Ship defends it easily.
Ship postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bystrom is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ship, into his guard.
Bystrom looking to sit in guard and control but Ship gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bystrom looking for a triangle here. Ship is fighting it but it looks tight! Bystrom pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ship is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Torkel Bystrom!
