Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emeritus Forge (ranked 6136 p4p, 3793 weight class) and Danny Sullivan (ranked 544 p4p, 0 weight class). Forge comes to the cage accompanied by Cirice. Sullivan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Pogues - Streams of Whiskey kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Emeritus Forge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forge gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sullivan counters with a flying knee. Nice. Forge misses with a right hand and Sullivan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sullivan avoids the head kick by Forge.
Sullivan throws out a counter right but Forge avoids it with no problem. Sloppy strikes from Forge. Those never looked like landing. Sullivan has Forge up against the cage in a clinch.
Sullivan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Forge uses from the top position. Forge trying to control the position from guard on top but Sullivan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Forge wanted to stand there but Sullivan had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forge makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sullivan is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forge is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sullivan is aware though and is defending well. Forge is striking but Sullivan is not phased and passes to half guard. Sullivan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sullivan landing shots from mount. Forge knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sullivan on the ground. Forge wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Forge tries to break free.
Forge trying to control the hands but Sullivan breaks the grip. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sullivan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Forge's body.
Sullivan has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Forge is defending well but eventually Sullivan manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Forge has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Danny Sullivan! Danny Sullivan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
