Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Swole Ricky Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Foster!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Foster doesn't seem bothered though.

Martin clinches.
Foster misses with a knee to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Foster.
Martin tries to throw a body punch but Foster avoids it by throwing Martin back against the cage.

Foster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Foster misses with a hook
and Martin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A shot to the liver by Martin. Beautiful body shot.
Martin misses the jab.
Foster moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Carl Foster has been cut.
Martin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Martin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Foster stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Martin.
Martin ducks under a wild hook from Foster.
Foster throws a hook but Martin avoids it easily.
Martin jabs Foster right on the nose. Foster blinks but takes it well.
Foster circles away from the clinch attempt.
Foster misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Foster takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Martin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Foster can pounce on him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster wants to slow Martin down by chopping away at his legs.
Foster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martin manages to avoid it.
Foster slips under a jab from Martin.
A telegraphed right hand from Foster misses the target.
Foster lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Foster throws a leg kick but Martin moved away.
Foster has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Martin.
Martin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Foster swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Martin moves into the clinch successfully.
Foster working Martin over with knees to the body.
Martin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Foster's elbow.
Martin blocking some punches.
Martin misses with a punch to the body.
Foster tries to work over Martin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Foster lands a shot to the body.
Martin lands a body punch.
Martin lands with a light punch inside.
Martin misses with a punch to the body.

Martin pulls guard effortlessly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Martin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Foster is aware though and is defending well.

Martin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Foster defends it easily.

Martin has his foot on Foster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Foster works his way back into a safe position though.
Martin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Foster has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Thib's Sweat Shoppe. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martin is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
Martin being controlled here, momentarily.
Foster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foster being controlled here momentarily.
Martin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Foster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Martin is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Foster slips under a jab.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Foster moves out of range of the strikes.
Martin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Martin thows a leg kick but Foster checks it
and Foster counters with a nice uppercut.
Foster sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Foster pivots, looking for a leg kick but Martin is out of range and Foster settles back down.
Martin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Foster scoring well with a low kick there.
Martin delivers a nice body kick.

Martin moves into the clinch successfully.
Martin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Foster unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Martin can't find room to land a body shot as Foster controls the action.
A nice right hand lands inside from Martin.
Foster struggles to land a body shot inside as Martin controls his hands.
Foster misses with a hook from the clinch.
Foster blocks a body shot from Martin.
Martin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Swole Ricky Martin dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Carl Foster's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Left hook, right uppercut from Foster.
Foster scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Foster gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Foster is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Foster throws a leg kick that misses.
Foster gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Martin gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Swole Ricky Martin!
