The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Tidd shoots in for a double leg but Furry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tidd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Furry's waist but Furry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tidd off to one side.
Tidd shoots in but no luck this time.
Bryan Furry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Tidd.

Tidd is trying to drag Furry to the mat but Furry just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
