Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Johnston (ranked 2865 p4p, 5266 weight class) and Mikha Hammodi (ranked 363 p4p, 601 weight class). Martin Johnston could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mikha Hammodi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Martin Johnston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikha Hammodi!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Mikha Hammodi has been cut.
Johnston fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hammodi wants to counter the offense by Johnston and move into the clinch position.
Hammodi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnston forces Hammodi back against the cage and clinches.
Hammodi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Hammodi has had enough of the clinch but Johnston keeps him there for the moment.

and Johnston counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Johnston counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Johnston.
Martin Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikha Hammodi.
Hammodi on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Johnston lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The cut above Mikha Hammodi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Johnston breaks the clinch.
Johnston lands a left and a right that send Hammodi crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnston thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnston rushes Hammodi and presses him up against the cage.
Johnston gets through Hammodi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Mikha Hammodi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mikha Hammodi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Martin Johnston!
