Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed El Shaarawy (ranked 2894 p4p, 4632 weight class) and Nuclear Power (ranked 92 p4p, 167 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohamed El Shaarawy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nuclear Power!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Shaarawy is looking to clinch.
El Shaarawy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
El Shaarawy is trying to pull guard but Power turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Power tries to pull guard but El Shaarawy won't allow it.
El Shaarawy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
El Shaarawy shoots in looking for a takedown. Power tries to sprawl out of it but El Shaarawy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Power manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Power moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Power shoots in and gets a takedown into El Shaarawy's guard.

El Shaarawy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Power is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Power trying to stand up but can't free himself from El Shaarawy's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horrible takedown attempt by El Shaarawy or perhaps it was just good defense by Power, which made it look bad.
Power throws out a counter right but El Shaarawy avoids it with no problem.

El Shaarawy clinches up with Power and pushes him back against the cage.

Power tries to clinch but fails miserably
and El Shaarawy counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Nuclear Power has been cut.
El Shaarawy lands a left and a right that send Power crashing to the mat, dazed. El Shaarawy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Power looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? El Shaarawy is fending him off so far but Power persists. Nope, El Shaarawy circles away and we're back to standing.
Power shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Power was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
El Shaarawy tries to buck Power off but Power is having none of it.
El Shaarawy is trying to control Power's posture but Power avoids it.
The ground and pound from Power seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Power looking to punish the body of his opponent here but El Shaarawy is avoiding damage well.
El Shaarawy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Power on the ground.
Power has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for El Shaarawy!
Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Power thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
El Shaarawy is breathing heavily.
Power controlling the position easily from mount.
Power is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but El Shaarawy is surviving well by controlling Power's body position as best he can.
Power tries to control but El Shaarawy wriggling away.

That was a close round but I would say that Mohamed El Shaarawy will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
El Shaarawy throws a nice head kick!
El Shaarawy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Power's waist but Power gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing El Shaarawy off to one side.

El Shaarawy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and El Shaarawy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Power shoots for a takedown but El Shaarawy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

I would just about give that final round to Nuclear Power.
