Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spinning Fire (ranked 496 p4p, 1826 weight class) and Professor Xe (ranked 70 p4p, 242 weight class). Professor Xe acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spinning Fire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Professor Xe! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xe misses the body punch and Fire counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fire looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Xe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fire pulls his head out easily. Xe looking for submissions off his back. Xe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fire. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fire performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Xe is refusing to be controlled, as Fire sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Xe tries to roll over but Fire keeps him under control. Fire takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fire winds up and cracks Xe with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
It looks like Professor Xe has been cut. Xe looking for submissions off his back. Xe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fire looks to land a strike but Xe avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Fire working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Xe is looking for a triangle but Fire pushes his legs off easily.

Fire is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Old Irish’s Fighter Factory that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Fire trying to control the position from guard on top but Xe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fire keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Xe's head. Fire has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Xe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fire can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Xe looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fire lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fire controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Fire with a flurry of punches that miss. Fire got a little sloppy there for a moment and Xe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fire has managed to get both his arms back between Xe's legs - danger averted. Fire postures up in Xe's guard and throws a big left but Xe blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fire is aware though and is defending well. Fire lands a couple of elbows. Fire wants to control from the top but Xe keeps moving. Fire landing some decent shots from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fire distracts Xe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fire keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Xe's head. Fire postures up and lands a big shot to Xe's brow. Fire loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fire scoring with some ground and pound. Fire is in close to Xe's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fire trying to control but Xe is working from the bottom. Xe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fire defends it easily. Fire avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Xe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fire gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fire is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Fire throws an elbow that misses. Xe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fire's guard. Nice move by Xe! Fire bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Xe's guard.

Fire throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fire lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That has opened up Professor Xe's cut even more. Xe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fire gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. This has been an exciting period of action! Fire cracks Xe with a solid left hand. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Spinning Fire dominated that round. The cut man is working on Professor Xe's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Xe misses the body punch and Fire counters with a takedown into side control. Xe taking a bit of punishment here - Fire scoring with strikes.
The cut above Professor Xe's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fire working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Professor Xe's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Professor Xe's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Spinning Fire! During a confident post fight interview, Spinning Fire thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
