Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Terence Erenberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Aspirin! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aspirin throws a lazy right hand but Erenberg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Erenberg is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Erenberg scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Aspirin doesn't seem bothered though. Erenberg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Aspirin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Terence Erenberg dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Aspirin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Erenberg shoots in but Aspirin avoids the takedown attempt easily. Erenberg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Aspirin can do to turn this around? Erenberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aspirin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Aspirin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Aspirin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Aspirin loads up on a big right hand but Erenberg slips the punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Erenberg with shots to the head and body - Aspirin looks very uncomfortable down there. Erenberg fails to advance to Aspirin's back. Erenberg with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Aspirin tries to improve his position but Erenberg has taken his back! Erenberg has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Aspirin tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Erenberg pushes Aspirin away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
