Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Jax (ranked 3136 p4p, 2399 weight class) and Marlon Gazersky (ranked 387 p4p, 296 weight class). Gazersky has chosen Clutch - Electric Worry as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Jax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marlon Gazersky! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gazersky forces Jax back against the cage and clinches. Gazersky is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jax is defending well. Gazersky pushes Jax back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Gazersky misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gazersky is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Gazersky swings wildly with an uppercut but Jax uses good head movement to avoid it. Gazersky drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Randy Jax has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marlon Gazersky. Jax is trying to break free. Gazersky tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jax's elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jax escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gazersky fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jax to the ground. Gazersky is now in Jax's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gazersky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jax is keeping the position for now. Jax will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gazersky trying to control the position from guard on top but Jax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gazersky looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Gazersky lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Gazersky working the head and body with strikes. Jax is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gazersky is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gazersky lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gazersky connects with a nice short shot to Jax's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gazersky working over Jax with some ground and pound. Jax looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gazersky is keen to just control but Jax is a slippery customer. Jax knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gazersky on the ground. Gazersky throwing shots but Jax is blocking nicely. Gazersky is looking to take a break and control but Jax is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gazersky throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gazersky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jax does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jax avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gazersky. Gazersky is trying to control. Jax wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Gazersky throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gazersky lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gazersky seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gazersky lands strikes from half guard. Jax keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gazersky missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gazersky lands a nice short elbow. Gazersky looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jax with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gazersky wants to control but Jax is keeping him busy. Nice strikes from Gazersky there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gazersky drops an elbow to the side of Jax's head. Gazersky winds up and cracks Jax with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Gazersky thows a huge punch but Jax dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jax on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marlon Gazersky dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Gazersky throws a lazy right hand but Jax sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gazersky rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jax counters with a three punch combo that has Gazersky backing up. Gazersky nods at Jax to acknowledge the strikes. We've been told by Jax's head coaches at Deep waters that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jax circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gazersky misses with a left hand and Jax counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jax throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gazersky. Jax takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gazersky connects with a nice looking jab.
Gazersky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jax. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jax fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gazersky looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Jax throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gazersky gets a takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gazersky trying to pass the guard but Jax defending well. Gazersky seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gazersky lands strikes from half guard. Gazersky trying to control the action but Jax is working from the bottom. Gazersky stops Jax from getting back to his feet.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Gazersky is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Gazersky throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jax regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gazersky. Gazersky stands up over Jax, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gazersky working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gazersky showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gazersky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jax swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gazersky working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jax can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gazersky controls the pace. Gazersky postures up in Jax's guard and throws a big left but Jax blocks it. Gazersky lands a couple of elbows. Gazersky with a flurry of punches that miss. Gazersky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jax works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gazersky keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jax's head. Jax keeping moving, preventing Gazersky from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Marlon Gazersky will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Jax avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gazersky was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Randy Jax is winning the standup battle so far. Gazersky just misses with a punch to the body.
Jax tries to bum rush Gazersky with a series of wild strikes but Gazersky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gazersky lands with a shot to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jax moves out of range of the strikes. Gazersky staying out of range there. Jax is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Gazersky has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Gazersky keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gazersky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gazersky dodges the punch combination from Jax.

and Jax counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gazersky thinking. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jax lands a nice hook to Gazersky's body. Gazersky takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Gazersky connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jax's hands. Gazersky tries to clinch but Jax moves away and Jax counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gazersky drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gazersky working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Check out the look on Gazersky's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jax takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gazersky trying to control the position but Jax is working away. Gazersky lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Jax is rocked! Jax avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gazersky. We've been informed that Gazersky has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Gazersky landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Oh Jax is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gazersky lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Jax! Gazersky senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Jax out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marlon Gazersky! After the fight, Marlon Gazersky was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
