Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Bean (ranked 4390 p4p, 4381 weight class) and Sakor Wos (ranked 0 p4p, 491 weight class). Rowan Bean has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rowan Bean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sakor Wos! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bean catches Wos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Bean is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Wos takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wos shoots in looking for a takedown. Bean tries to sprawl out of it but Wos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bean manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A counter left hand to the body from Bean misses its target. Wos avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wos drives through with a takedown into guard. Wos showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Let's hope that Wos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wos has a takedown stuffed. A jab from Bean misses. Bean connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Wos takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bean's guard. Wos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Wos advances to half guard. Wos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bean defends it well. Wos is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bean has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wos in particular looking to stall. Bean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wos on the ground. Bean wants to improve his position but Wos is controlling well.
Wos decides to stand and escape the position. Wos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wos is controlling the pace.

Wos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bean! Bean is looking to improve his position but Wos isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wos controlling the pace for now. Wos has control of Bean's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bean regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Wos thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wos looking for a guillotine from mount but Bean is having none of it. Wos is working for a guillotine from mount but Bean frees his head quite easily.

A close round but Sakor Wos will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! No luck with that takedown attempt from Wos. Bean throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wos sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bean misses the shot to the body. Bean uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wos.
It looked like Bean was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wos. Bean misses with a straight left. Wos moves into the clinch successfully.
Bean misses with a short punch on the inside. Bean misses with the head strike.
Bean can't find room to land a body shot as Wos controls the action.
Bean misses with a hook from the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bean pulls him back up using the underhooks. Wos blocks a body shot from Bean. Wos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bean gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rowan Bean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakor Wos. Wos is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bean gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wos blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bean tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Wos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bean gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Wos is trying to drag Bean to the mat but Bean just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wos taking a breather. Wos blocking some punches.

Bean tries to throw a body punch but Wos avoids it by throwing Bean back against the cage. Bean can't find room to land a body shot as Wos controls the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bean doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bean tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Wos fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bean stalling in the clinch but Wos improves position. Bean tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wos's elbow. Wos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Bean. Wos does a little dance to reset his feet. Wos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bean. Bean misses the shot to the body. Bean lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Rowan Bean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bean misses the shot to the body. Wos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bean to the mat! Bean manages to get full guard. Wos showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bean looking for a sweep. Not yet Bean, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bean is working an open guard so Wos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wos tries to clinch there but Bean circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bean, as that shot connected.
Wos drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bean paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Rowan Bean is winning the standup battle so far. Wos with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bean to score with a decent uppercut. Wos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bean takes a swing at Wos's ribcage but misses. Wos now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Wos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bean fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wos manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wos shoots in looking for a takedown but Bean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bean is looking to counter punch. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bean, as that shot connected.
Bean misses with an uppercut. Wos saw that one coming. Wos pushes Bean up against the cage in a clinch. Wos drags the fight down to the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action! Wos is adopting a defensive guard. Wos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bean's guard. Wos controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bean looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wos is one step ahead there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rowan Bean dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Bean punishes Wos's body with a nice straight punch. Bean connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Bean tries to sprawl but Wos drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bean tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Wos manages to move to mount!
Bean is desperately trying to improve his position but Wos has a good base and remains in mount. Wos working for a submission but Bean is keeping him at bay. Wos controlling from the full mount. Sakor Wos has got the better of the ground game so far. Wos is landing with some decent strikes but Bean is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wos controlling from the full mount. Wos looking to secure an arm triangle but Bean defends it well. Wos lands a couple of good shots and Bean has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Wos softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Bean covering up well and avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wos working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Wos biding his time, controlling Bean. Wos struggling to land strikes to the head as Bean covers up. I would not like to be Bean right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wos looking for the choke from the back. Wos has good solid back control here. Wos looking for the choke but no joy. Wos is looking for the choke from the back position but Bean is controlling his hands well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bean is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Wos really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bean. Wos has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bean has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Rowan Bean has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wos has managed to slip his arm under Bean's chin. This could be all over... yep, Bean is tapping out! Submission win for Wos.
