Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Lourenco!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lourenco cracks Smith with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lourenco's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lourenco duly obliges.
A punch combination from Lourenco misses.
Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lourenco just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Smith was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lourenco falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smith counters with a three punch combo that has Lourenco backing up. Lourenco nods at Smith to acknowledge the strikes.
Lourenco scores with a hook to the body. Smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Lourenco stuns Smith with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lourenco throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smith on the side of the head.
Lourenco punishes Smith's body with a nice straight punch.
Lourenco throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith throws a big counter combination but Lourenco scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Smith with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lourenco to score with a decent uppercut.

Smith throws a wild hook but Lourenco just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Smith gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Lourenco raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Lourenco!
A less than humble Thiago Lourenco misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
