Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Smash (ranked 775 p4p, 994 weight class) and Kwame Nti (ranked 14 p4p, 19 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kwame Nti was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergeant Smash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kwame Nti!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash looks to score with a jab to the body but Nti is just out of range.
Nti lands a body shot.
Smash throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nti sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A lazy left from Smash finds it's target.
Nti shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Smash is trying to defend but Nti finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Smash regains full guard. Nicely done.
Smash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee asks Nti politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nti prefers to stall for the moment though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nti shoots for a double leg takedown but Smash sprawls well. He's pushed Nti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A little feinted left hand from Smash on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Nti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smash moves away.

Smash is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nti throws a lazy right hand but Smash sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Smash gets tackled into the cage by Nti. Nti maintains the clinch.
Smash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Smash counters with a stiff right hand.

Nti is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

It looked like Smash wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Nti with the counter takedown but Smash avoids it easily.
Smash takes a swing at Nti's ribcage but misses.
Nti throws a hook to the side of Smash's head but Smash sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nti darts in trying to clinch
and Smash cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Smash lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nti circles away quickly and effectively.
Smash keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Smash misses.
Nti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smash manages to avoid it.
Smash was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Smash waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nti.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smash throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nti counters with a shoot takedown. Smash fights it but they end up in guard.
Nti engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Let's hope that Nti has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sergeant Smash will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nti tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Nti has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nti drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smash gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Nti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kwame Nti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Nti has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kwame Nti spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
