Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christoper Midura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hawkins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba. Dave Hawkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Midura looks to throw the jab but Hawkins is out of range.
Midura moves out of range as Hawkins strikes.
Hawkins moves into the clinch.
Hawkins throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hawkins keeps control of Midura as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hawkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Midura lands a right hook to the body.
Midura throws a body punch but Hawkins moves out of range.
Midura fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Midura lands a slapping body shot.
Hawkins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hawkins staying out of range there.
Midura bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Midura fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jab, jab by Midura - just one landing.
Midura scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Midura scores with a shot to the body.
Hawkins is breathing heavily.
Hawkins throws a hook to the side of Midura's head but Midura sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Christoper Midura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Midura does no damage.
Midura connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Midura lands a glancing blow to the side of Hawkins's head.
Midura scores with a three punch combo!
Hawkins is rocked!

Oh Hawkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Midura circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hawkins to the canvas! Hawkins doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Midura keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christoper Midura!
