Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Red Jesus Karter (ranked 887 p4p, 3942 weight class) and Tyson Law (ranked 138 p4p, 505 weight class). Law comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Country Boy Can Survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Law looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Karter is fending him off so far but Law persists. Nope, Karter circles away and we're back to standing.
Law uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Karter has time to react.

Karter misses the shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Law.
Karter was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Red Jesus Karter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Law.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Karter. Law does a little dance to reset his feet.
Law has his takedown stuffed
and Karter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Law is defended easily by Karter.

Karter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Law to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Law won't allow Karter to get back to his feet.
Law tries to free his leg and advance position but Karter is retaining full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Law accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Law is working Karter over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Law lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Law has gone for a leg lock! Karter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Law's guard.

Law is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Law has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Karter doesn't defend quickly enough and Law has managed to lock this one up! Can Karter escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Law on a fantastic submission victory.

Tyson Law spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
