Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 2209 p4p, 3655 weight class) and Jake Reaper (ranked 283 p4p, 457 weight class). Palmotic comes to the cage accompanied by One day I'll be king. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Palmotic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmotic takes a jab right on the kisser.
Reaper staying out of range there.
Palmotic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reaper takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Palmotic looks to land a right hand but Reaper moved out of range.
Good shot there by Reaper.
Reaper goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Palmotic swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Palmotic looks to score with a jab to the body but Reaper is just out of range.
Reaper steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Jake Reaper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmotic throws a hook but Reaper blocks it.
Reaper counters with a body kick.
Reaper buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Reaper.
Palmotic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Palmotic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reaper manages to avoid it.
Reaper has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Palmotic.
Reaper misses with an attempted mid kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Palmotic misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reaper thuds his right hand into Palmotic's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Reaper misses with a hook.
Reaper has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reaper there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Jake Reaper has been cut.
Reaper takes a swing at Palmotic's ribcage but misses.
Palmotic throws a lazy uppercut
and Reaper counters with a thumping low kick.
Reaper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Palmotic throws a body punch but Reaper moves out of range.
Palmotic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Palmotic takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A solid body kick from Palmotic.
Reaper throws a solid leg kick but Palmotic takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Reaper.

Reaper pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Reaper on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reaper swings widly with a right hand
and Palmotic counters with a nice right hand that sends Reaper toppling to the canvas! Reaper scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Palmotic finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reaper thows a leg kick but Palmotic checks it
and Palmotic rattles Reaper with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Reaper tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Palmotic dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Reaper stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hrvoje Palmotic!
