Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael OMalley (ranked 1675 p4p, 2529 weight class) and Dosh Oh (ranked 182 p4p, 261 weight class). OMalley's entrance music is Tekashi 6ix9ine - Tati. A fine choice. Michael OMalley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael OMalley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dosh Oh!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh loads up on a big right hand but OMalley slips the punch.
OMalley drops down looking for a counter takedown but Oh sprawls and moves away.
OMalley takes one to the chin there.
OMalley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Oh misses with a right hand

and OMalley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
OMalley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
OMalley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
OMalley seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oh wants to control but OMalley is keeping busy.
OMalley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are battling for position here. Oh manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Oh seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
OMalley trying to control the position from guard on top but Oh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

OMalley tries to score a body lock takedown but Oh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
OMalley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Oh pulls his leg out and moves away.
Oh misses with a straight left.
OMalley ducks under a wild hook from Oh.
OMalley appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Oh listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
OMalley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Oh finds it's way round the side to connect with OMalley's head.

Oh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oh lands with a hook. OMalley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
OMalley slips a jab and a cross from Oh.
Oh shoots and misses

OMalley keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
OMalley is looking to advance position but Oh won't allow it.
OMalley is keen to just control but Oh is a slippery customer.
OMalley misses with a head shot. Oh uses the momentum to regain guard.

Oh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. OMalley manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OMalley is not content to let Oh control the position.

OMalley is refusing to be controlled, as Oh sits in half guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Oh takes a swing at OMalley's ribcage but misses.
OMalley attempts a counter takedown but Oh avoids it well and moves away.
Oh slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and OMalley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Oh's guard.
OMalley wants to pass the guard but Oh is keeping the position.
Oh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
OMalley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

You can see the frustration on Oh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've been hearing good reports from OMalley's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oh throws a lazy right hand but OMalley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Oh felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Oh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh postures up in OMalley's guard and throws a big left but OMalley blocks it.

Oh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. OMalley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
OMalley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Oh controls the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Oh stands and throws OMalley's legs to the side, diving into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dosh Oh.
I think Oh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
