Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Conrad Killstrike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpa Chino!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killstrike throws a nice looking combination but Chino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A low kick lands for Killstrike.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chino has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chino drops back looking for a leg! Killstrike is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killstrike manages to kick Chino off! Chino jumps back into Killstrike's guard.
Killstrike is trying to control the position but Chino postures up.
Chino engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Killstrike knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chino on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Chino drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Chino as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Killstrike screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Chino! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Alpa Chino!
