Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Shearer (ranked 5346 p4p, 6318 weight class) and Kai Svenson (ranked 562 p4p, 622 weight class). Kai Svenson looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andy Shearer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kai Svenson!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Svenson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Svenson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shearer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Svenson might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Shearer has got the better of the exchanges.
