Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Hooper (ranked 2571 p4p, 3506 weight class) and Ramdin Bolsdeep (ranked 354 p4p, 458 weight class). Bolsdeep has chosen Sir Psycho Sexy, Red Hot Chilli Peppers. as his entrance music. Ramdin Bolsdeep has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danilo Hooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ramdin Bolsdeep!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bolsdeep moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hooper throws a one two combo.
Bolsdeep takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bolsdeep throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hooper connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bolsdeep's hands.

Hooper lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bolsdeep sprawling to the canvas. Hooper follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bolsdeep hang on?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hooper thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bolsdeep tries to roll over but Hooper keeps him under control.
Hooper is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolsdeep tries to roll over but Hooper keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bolsdeep slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bolsdeep keeping moving, preventing Hooper from controlling successfully.
Hooper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hooper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bolsdeep can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hooper uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bolsdeep has time to react.
That kick from Hooper tenderised Bolsdeep's leg. Bolsdeep is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hooper tries to keep at a distance but Bolsdeep has taken the fight into the clinch.

A head punch on the inside from Bolsdeep fails to land.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Our sources have told us that Hooper has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bolsdeep.
Bolsdeep lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bolsdeep.
Bolsdeep lands an elbow inside that Hooper shrugs off.

Hooper works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Bolsdeep is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hooper throws a big elbow that misses.
Bolsdeep is trying to keep Hooper in close.
Bolsdeep is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA London inform us that Bolsdeep has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bolsdeep shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hooper throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Bolsdeep gets caught napping as Hooper dives in and scores a takedown. Bolsdeep manages to retain guard.
Hooper throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bolsdeep works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hooper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bolsdeep throws a body shot but no joy.
Bolsdeep takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hooper wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bolsdeep throws a low kick but Hooper avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hooper throws a series of punches but Bolsdeep avoids them all with ease.
Hooper is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bolsdeep can do to turn this around?

Hooper scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hooper fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hooper takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bolsdeep wants to clinch up but Hooper keeps it at a distance.
Bolsdeep cracks Hooper with a good jab.
Hooper throws a nice looking combination but Bolsdeep bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hooper throws a head kick but Bolsdeep moves out of range.
Bolsdeep throws out a counter right but Hooper avoids it with no problem.
Danilo Hooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bolsdeep misses with a low kick as Hooper jumps back.
Bolsdeep lands a really nice looking cross but Hooper seems unphased.

Hooper is rocked!
Bolsdeep lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hooper off his feet! Hooper tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ramdin Bolsdeep!
A less than humble Ramdin Bolsdeep misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
