Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Peter Petersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Scotty!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petersson lands a really nice looking cross but Scotty seems unphased.
Scotty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Scotty has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Scotty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Petersson cracks Scotty with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Scotty looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Petersson finish him?
Scotty is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petersson flashes Scotty a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Scotty's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Scotty crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Petersson punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Petersson!
Peter Petersson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
