Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Ronaldo!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barbosa.
Barbosa ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barbosa staying out of range there.
Ronaldo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ronaldo looks to score with a jab to the body but Barbosa is just out of range.
Barbosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice defenses there by Ronaldo.

Barbosa tries to keep at a distance but Ronaldo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Barbosa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ronaldo uses from the top position.

Ronaldo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barbosa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ronaldo has managed to get both his arms back between Barbosa's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Barbosa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ronaldo pulls his head out easily.

Barbosa wants to control but Ronaldo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Barbosa scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ronaldo in his tracks.
Barbosa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ronaldo connects with a body shot that sends Barbosa's belly button to the back.
A nice combination there by Barbosa.
Barbosa paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ronaldo tries to clinch
and Barbosa counters with a left right combination that sends Ronaldo crashing to the mat - Barbosa wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Ronaldo out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
