Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hradek shoots in looking for a takedown but Coyle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hradek's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hradek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coyle as he jumps to the side.

Hradek moves into range and clinches up with Coyle.
Hradek controlling the action here for a moment.
I was talking to Hradek's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Coyle taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Hradek swings wildly with an uppercut but Coyle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Coyle wants to break free but Hradek has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coyle has had enough of the clinch but Hradek keeps him there for the moment.
Hradek misses with the head strike.
Hradek lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hradek just leaning against Coyle, taking a breather.

Hradek manages to break the clinch.

Coyle gets a double leg takedown into Hradek's guard.
Coyle looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Coyle trying to control but Hradek is working from the bottom.
Coyle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hradek haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hradek escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coyle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hradek looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Coyle has picked Hradek up and slammed him! Hradek can't keep hold of the triangle and Coyle manages to pass to side control!
Hradek is trying to control Coyle's posture but Coyle avoids it.

Coyle in side control lands a decent elbow.
Hradek takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Hradek tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Hradek is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hradek is working hard here to advance position.
A nice elbow there by Coyle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coyle perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Coyle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hradek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Coyle has managed to get both his arms back between Hradek's legs - danger averted.
Coyle wants to control from the top but Hradek keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hradek looking for a guillotine here but Coyle defends easily.

Hradek makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hradek.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Coyle is looking to stand up but Hradek won't let him.

Hradek is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Coyle frees his head nicely. Oh but Hradek has switched to an armbar! Coyle is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
