Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Braden Moore (ranked 3495 p4p, 23694 weight class) and Jumba Jookiba (ranked 447 p4p, 758 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Braden Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jumba Jookiba! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore stuffs the takedown attempt from Jookiba. Jookiba gets slowly back to his feet. Moore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moore postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Moore misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Jookiba tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Moore presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jookiba can do anything to dispel that myth. Jookiba tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore controlling the position easily from mount. Jookiba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jookiba holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Moore tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Jookiba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Moore controlling from the full mount. Jookiba tries to hold on but Moore pushes him away. Jookiba regains half guard. Moore takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Moore prevents Jookiba from improving his position. Moore has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jookiba defend it? Moore steps over the head and cranks it - Jookiba is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Moore!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Braden Moore!
