Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roel Yomero (ranked 2212 p4p, 2675 weight class) and Jupiter Smalls (ranked 298 p4p, 349 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yomero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smalls moves away.
A swing and a miss from Yomero.
Yomero looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Smalls is looking for the big counter here.
Yomero lands with a shot to the body.

and Smalls makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Smalls has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Yomero throws a series of punches but Smalls avoids them all with ease.
Smalls now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Smalls blocks a low kick nicely.
Yomero throws the kick towards the body but Smalls avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smalls lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Smalls feints a jab promting Yomero to slip. Smalls then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Yomero slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

As Yomero backs off Smalls throws a huge counter combo but Yomero manages to avoid it all.

Smalls lands a left and a right that send Yomero crashing to the mat, dazed. Smalls thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Yomero is rocked!

It looks like Roel Yomero has been cut.
Yomero throws a hook but Smalls blocks it.
Oh Yomero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Yomero throws a hook to the side of Smalls's head but Smalls sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Yomero seems to have got his legs back now.
Yomero throws a looping overhand right but Smalls ducks down to avoid it.
Yomero is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Smalls's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As Yomero backs off Smalls throws a huge counter combo but Yomero manages to avoid it all.
Roel Yomero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yomero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smalls moves away.
Yomero throws a hook to the side of Smalls's head but Smalls sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Smalls connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yomero throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smalls sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A little jabbing left from Smalls on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Yomero misses the target.
Smalls lands a nice shot to the body.

Yomero tries to score with a low kick but Smalls moves his leg out of the way.

and Smalls counters with a crisp one two that drops Yomero! Smalls thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Yomero to his feet! Yomero is in big trouble!

Smalls drops Yomero with a beautiful combination! Yomero stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smalls is looking for the KO!

and Smalls counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Yomero off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Smalls follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Yomero was out before he hit the floor.
