The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurokawa throws a head kick but Markov moves out of range.
Markov misses with a wild combination.
Markov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Markov scores with a nice right hand.
Markov throws a series of punches but Kurokawa avoids them all with ease.
Kurokawa attempts a counter takedown but Markov avoids it well and moves away.
A left and a right from Markov both land. Nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Markov misses with a jab to the body
and Kurokawa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Markov won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kurokawa tries to advance to mount but can't.
