Mills comes to the cage accompanied by Rock the Dragon. Dragonball Z. Teixeira has chosen The Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Edward Mills had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Teixeira throws out the jab.
Mills fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Teixeira swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Mills counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jairzinho Teixeira has been cut.
A nice combination there by Teixeira.

It looks like Edward Mills has been cut.
Teixeira thuds his right hand into Mills's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mills ducks right into an uppercut from Teixeira.

Mills pushes Teixeira up against the cage in a clinch.

Mills's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Mills for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Mills keeps control of Teixeira as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Teixeira's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Mills is leaning against Teixeira and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Teixeira's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Mills lands a right hand that snaps the head of Teixeira backwards.

Teixeira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mills moves away.

Mills jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

and Mills counters with a nice uppercut.
Teixeira stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mills ducks right into an uppercut from Teixeira.
Mills looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Teixeira lands a nice looking body shot.
Teixeira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Mills misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Teixeira.
Jairzinho Teixeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Teixeira misses with a series of wild punches.
Teixeira takes a swing at Mills's ribcage but misses.
Sloppy strikes from Mills. Those never looked like landing.
The fighters circle momentarily. Teixeira darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mills gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Teixeira jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Teixeira smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Oh Mills is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Teixeira is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Teixeira lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Mills falls backwards - clearly groggy! Teixeira dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Jairzinho Teixeira really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Warrior Fight Store logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
