The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popa looks to land a combination. O Brien sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
O Brien throws a looping overhand right but Popa ducks down to avoid it.
Popa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
O Brien ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Popa needs to keep his hands up - O Brien had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Vasile Popa has been cut.
O Brien lands a nice shot to the body.
Popa is breathing heavily.
O Brien pounces like a tiger and cracks Popa with a vicious hook! Popa is down but not out! O Brien follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
