Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Krampus (ranked 734 p4p, 645 weight class) and Henrique Rosa (ranked 116 p4p, 102 weight class). Dexter Krampus could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Henrique Rosa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Krampus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henrique Rosa!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krampus swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rosa makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rosa bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krampus's head backwards.
Krampus rushes Rosa and presses him up against the cage.
Rosa lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Krampus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rosa avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rosa misses with a punch on the inside.
Rosa doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Krampus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rosa gets through Krampus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Krampus is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rosa pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Rosa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Rosa counters with a nice low kick that buckles Krampus's knee momentarily.
Rosa clobbers Krampus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Dexter Krampus has been cut.
A bone on bone clash there as Rosa blocks the leg kick.
Krampus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rosa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Krampus takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

A jab from Rosa finds it's way through Krampus's defenses.
Rosa lands with a hook. Krampus tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Krampus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Krampus scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Rosa throws Krampus to one side and escapes!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Krampus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rosa - the referee stops the clock and Krampus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rosa. Krampus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rosa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Krampus walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Rosa lands the left hand.
Rosa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Dexter Krampus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Rosa tenderised Krampus's leg. Krampus is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Rosa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Rosa cracks Krampus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Rosa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Krampus had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Krampus closes the distance and clinches up with Rosa, looking for a takedown. Krampus pushes Rosa against the cage but Rosa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rosa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rosa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Krampus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Krampus tries to close the distance and clinch but Rosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Krampus throws a nice looking combination but Rosa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Rosa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Krampus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Krampus takes one to the side of the head.
Krampus takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Krampus doesn't manage to clinch there - Rosa circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Krampus throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Rosa to counter with a crisp jab.

Krampus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rosa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Henrique Rosa seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Rosa lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Krampus or not.
Krampus goes for a takedown attempt but Rosa pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circle momentarily. Rosa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rosa has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

A head kick lands from Rosa that sends Krampus to the canvas. Krampus tries to scramble back to his feet but Rosa brings him back down into side control.
Oh Krampus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dexter Krampus's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rosa decides to stand back up. Rosa steps back and let's Krampus get back to his feet.
Rosa drops Krampus with a big left hand! Krampus is injured, injured bad! Rosa jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
