Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between William Tate (ranked 5695 p4p, 5459 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 103 p4p, 101 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tate tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gunn swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gunn keeps the fight on the outside.

Tate tries to bum rush Gunn with a series of wild strikes but Gunn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tate. Gunn does a little dance to reset his feet.

It looks like William Tate has been cut.
Gunn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tate has time to react.
Tate tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gunn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gunn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gunn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tate takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gunn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tate doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Tate is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tate is breathing heavily.
Tate throws a series of punches but Gunn moves out of range.
Gunn lands a front kick.
Tate seems to have got his legs back now.
Tate keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Look low, kick high! Gunn uses the oldest trick in the book to send Tate tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Gunn is absolutely delighted - when Tate wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
