Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frog Ribbit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nigel Benn Jr!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbit throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ribbit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Benn Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Ribbit.
Ribbit throws a leg kick
and Benn Jr counters with a two punch combo.
Ribbit misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ribbit thuds his right hand into Benn Jr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Nigel Benn Jr has been cut.
That kick from Ribbit tenderised Benn Jr's leg. Benn Jr is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ribbit takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ribbit lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A nice combination there by Benn Jr.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Benn Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ribbit can pounce on him.
Ribbit lands with an uppercut that bounces Benn Jr off the cage and back into range.
Frog Ribbit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribbit cracks Benn Jr with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ribbit has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Benn Jr to stand back up!
Benn Jr is rocked!
Benn Jr with a nice calf kick.
Ribbit fakes the body blow, causing Benn Jr to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Benn Jr goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frog Ribbit!
A very excited looking Frog Ribbit made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Nigel Benn Jr stepped up to the mic, saying 'ill be back'.
