Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between MeShell Jones (ranked 4472 p4p, 4464 weight class) and Depeche Gutt (ranked 0 p4p, 489 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, MeShell Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Depeche Gutt!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jones lands with a straight right. Gutt didn't see that one coming.
Gutt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gutt misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gutt on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gutt takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Donk. Jones catches Gutt right on the button with a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gutt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gutt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones is trying to escape the position but Gutt is controlling the position.
Jones is looking for a sweep.
Gutt has an Americana. Jones didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gutt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gutt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
